Our vision is to achieve world class STEM education and careers for all young people across the nation by promote nation building and development championed by highly motivated, empowered STEM leaders and innovators.
In most Ugandan schools, unfortunately, due to the lack of funding, there has been a reduction in the hands-on elements of STEM subjects leaving students without the fun side of them. Here at ASAT LABS we supplement what they are learning in school with a project-based curriculum designed to capture their interest and show them the various career options available in STEM.
We implement our workshops at community centers, libraries, and schools across Northern Uganda using volunteers from local universities. Our ultimate goal is to create a highly skilled, socially conscious STEM workforce here in Northern Uganda to drive local innovation , we also provide our volunteers access to STEM career opportunities through our exclusive job board.
